Drew sent me an interesting e-mail about “flash fiction”, a genre of short stories much like a fable or a parable. The article states that Ernest Hemingway once bet that he could write a story in just six words. I’ve spent the entire hour writing short sentences, always missing the cut by a word or two but these are the ones I have managed to fulfill.
- The wounded warrior worshipped his mercy.
- Atop the seven hills, he rested.
- When the wind changed, he breathed.
- The flower languished as Dawn approached.-
